In order for your stakeholders to have access to their portfolio (i.e. Employee or Investor Dashboard), you'll need to invite them to Portfolio Access. This article explains how to invite and revoke their access and how to adjust the invitation email

Inviting a stakeholder to Portfolio Access

Go to the Stakeholders page

Place the cursor on the row of a stakeholder you want to invite

Click the Invite button under the "Portfolio access" column
Note: Make sure that the "Portfolio access" column is selected as visible within the stakeholders' columns. For more information visit the Stakeholders columns.

Verify or add stakeholders' email

Confirm by clicking the Invite button
Note: When a stakeholder accepts the invitation to their portfolio, the green checkmark will appear in the "Portfolio access" column on the Stakeholders page. When the stakeholder has been invited but has not yet accepted, a clock icon will appear in the "Portfolio access" column on the Stakeholders page

Re-inviting a stakeholder to Portfolio Access
If the invited stakeholder cannot find their invitation email, or if you'd like to remind them of their invitation to Ledgy, you may:
- Go to the Stakeholders page
- Place the cursor on the row of a stakeholder you want to re-invite
- Click on the Three dot menu that appears next to the stakeholders' name
- Select Re-invite as a stakeholder
- Click Save

Note: Only an Owner collaborator can revoke a stakeholder's access
- Go to the Stakeholders page
- Place the cursor on the row of a stakeholder whose access level should be revoked
- Click on the Three dot menu that appears next to the stakeholders' name
- Select the Revoke portfolio access
- Press the Confirm button to save the changes
Customizing the Portfolio Access' Invitation Email
Ledgy allows you to adjust the invitation email sent to your stakeholders when you first invite them to have Portfolio Acess:

Go to Company Settings > General

Within the Email Templates section, click on the Review button next to the Stakeholder Invitation

Adjust the Subject and Message that will be sent to your stakeholders
Note: You can test the format of this email by clicking on Send test. The email will arrive at the email address indicated in the brackets. You can repeat this process and adjust the message until you are satisfied with the result.

Confirm by clicking Save
Most common problems and solutions
The stakeholder can't see my company in their portfolio dashboard

Solution #1: Revoke access and invite them again
Note: Only an Owner collaborator can revoke a stakeholder's access
- Go to the Stakeholders page
- Place the cursor on the row of the stakeholder that cannot see your company on their portfolio dashboard
- Click the Three Dot Menu that appears on the right-hand side
- Press the Revoke portfolio access button > Confirm
- Click on the Three dot Menu again > Invite stakeholder
- Make sure that the email provided is correct
- Press Invite
- The stakeholder will receive another invitation to their email address. They should follow the link in the email, and should then be able to see your company under "My Portfolio".

Solution #2: Stakeholder is invited as a collaborator and not to their portfolio.
Stakeholders with collaborator access do not automatically have access to their portfolio. Follow the steps above under 'Inviting a stakeholder to Portfolio Access'
