Investor Dashboard and testing what investors might see on Ledgy

With Ledgy, you can create a Test account to see which information is shared with your investors. Only users with Owner access levels can create such company, and delete it after they have used it.

    Creating a Test account

    If your access level is set to Owner, you can create a Test account to see the investor view following these steps:

    1. Go to Home > Investment firms
    2. Clicking on Create New will open "Create new investment firm" window
    3. Fill the fields by adding a name such as "Testing", website (for example "test.com") and Country of your choice
    4. Click to agree with Ledgy's Data Processing Addendum and confirm by clicking Save
    5. The Dashboard of your newly created investor will open
    6. Within the Portfolio companies section click on Add > Existing company
    7. Select your company and the stakeholder whose view you want to test
    8. Confirm by clicking Save

    Note: When investor is assigned to a Testing company, the investor will be tagged as having access to their portfolio. This will be seen on your company side within the Stakeholders dashboard under the Portfolio access column.

    Testing view of a different investor

    1. Go to Investment firms > Testing
    2. Click on Performance
    3. Place cursor on the row representing their holdings in one of your companies and click on the Three dot menu
    4. From a drop-down menu, select Remove investment > Confirm
    5. Performance dashboard will stay open, but the investor will now be removed
    6. Click the Add button in the top right corner
    7. Selecting Existing company will open a window
    8. Select your company and the stakeholder whose view you want to test
    9. Confirm by clicking Save

    Note: When an investor is assigned to a Testing company, the investor will be tagged as having access to their portfolio. This will be seen on your company side within the Stakeholders dashboard under the Portfolio access column.

    Segments of the Investor dashboard

    • The Performance dashboard shows an overview of their holdings in one or multiple companies
    • The Insights dashboard shows an overview of the transactions they are involved in
      • Click on a single transaction to see more details (including documents attached to a transaction)
    • KPIs, Reports and Documents dashboards will show all the KPIs, reports and documents shared with the investor
    • Investors can have more than one company on Ledgy and therefore their Performance and KPI dashboard might change accordingly to include more than one company.
